Pathway Of Hope
The Salvation Army’s Pathway of Hope initiative provides individualized services to families with children who desire to take action to break the cycle of crisis and vulnerability that repeats generation after generation. It seeks to address the root causes of poverty in addition to The Army’s history of compassionate serving.
By helping families overcome challenges like unemployment, unstable housing, and lack of education, we can lead families down a path toward increased stability and, ultimately, self-sufficiency.
Services we provide
Rental and Utility Assistance
Through the generous support of our community, The Salvation Army is able to provide emergency financial assistance for those needing help with rent, utilities, and emergency lodging. Frome time-to-time we are also able to assist with some more unique requests. If you need assistance, please call our office to set up an appointment.
Gas Card
This program provides gasoline vouchers to job seekers enabling them to get to interviews, job fairs, etc. We also provide aid to those who need help getting to a work at a new place of employment (as they are waiting for their first paycheck). Recipients meet with a case worker and have an opportunity to take a personalized job interview class that coaches them on how to best present themselves to potential employers.
Spiritual Care
The Salvation Army Maryville Corps is committed to sharing the message of God’s love and hope through a relationship with Jesus Christ while actively meeting human needs in His name without discrimination.
